RECITAL 2011 Information
Our annual recital is just two weeks away! Be sure to read this email in its entirety for information regarding tickets, rehearsal and show times, DVD orders, flower orders, and program notes and business ads for our program.
Tickets:
$10 per person (ages 3+ must have their own ticket) and must be purchased for each individual show, performers do not need a ticket
- Purchase at the studio (check or cash only)
- Online by clicking here
- Tickets will also be available at the door 30 minutes before each show (cash only), but do not wait until the last minute- tickets are going fast!
Rehearsal & Show times AT THE THEATER – El Campanil Theatre 601 e. 2nd Street, Antioch, CA:
Dress rehearsal is mandatory, please have your hair & makeup completed, and 1st costume on by Check in (call time). These are closed rehearsals, no parents, friends, relatives will be permitted to watch. For ballet: full length pink tights & pink ballet shoes (leather or canvas). Hair in a bun. Jazz/lyrical/tap please check with your instructor!
Learn tricks of the trade! Make up and bun clinic will be held at various times during our registration days July 16/17 more info to come!
Dress rehearsal is Thursday, July 21st
5pm – Check in at stage door (located on G Street)DBA staff member will check your child in
5:30-8:00pm – Rehearsal
8:00pm- Check Out – DBA staff member will release your child at the stage door. Parents please be on time!!!!!
Show is Friday, July 22nd
5:00pm – Check in at stage door – All dancers must check in!
6:15pm – Doors open for House (audience)
7:00pm – Show begins – Younger dancers (in the 2nd act may sit with family until intermission)
9:00pm – Approx. end time – All dancers must remain backstage until the end of the show and will be released to parents at stage door at the conclusion of the performance
Dress rehearsal & show is Saturday, July 23rd
9:00am – Check in at stage door (located on G Street)DBA staff member will check your child in
9:30-11:30am – Rehearsal
11:30am – Younger dancers must be picked up and will remain with their families for the first half of the show (please be sure to eat lunch at this time)
12:15pm - Doors open for House (audience)
1:00pm – Show Begins
3:00pm - Approx. end time – All dancers must remain backstage until the end of the show and will be released to parents at stage door at the conclusion of the performance

Please see attached pdf. Orders WILL NOT be handled through Delta Ballet Academy (pre-order at our registration/picture day Saturday, July 16th and Sunday, July 17th at the studio)

ABSOLUTLEY NO OTHER videography or photography of any sort is permitted during our shows! (please pass this information on to your friends and relatives). Any individual who fails to follow this rule during our performances will be asked to put their equipment away, failure to do so, will result in dismissal from the theater.
Flowers:
See attached jpeg for more information or flyer at the studio. Deadline to pre-order is July 19th . Some flowers may be available for purchase the day of, but its best to pre-order.

$15 per note – 30 words or less
Write a special message to your special dancers to be printed in our recital program! Please type your message (or email), include your payment and place in tuition box at the studio. Deadline is July 17th
